BLEPHARITIS
They are the inflammations of eyelids.
Often they cause redness, itches, oedema ( thickened eyelids), pains, scales in eyelashes (cilia).
They are due to germs, or allergies, or microorganisms accommodated in the base of eyelashes(cilia) ((DEMODEX FOLLICURUM, LICE)
TREATMENT
They are treated with collyrium and creams with antibiotic and anti-inflammatory or a desensitization in case of allergy.
Counsels in case of chronic blepharites with edges in charge of eyelids:
– Apply warm compresses in the morning, on eyelids*
– Repeat the operation several times every morning, to melt in the heat fats accommodated in the base of eyelashes(cilia).
